About TossPost
TossPost gives you an e-mail address for the moments when you would rather not hand out your real one. It only receives, keeps your inbox private and deletes everything on schedule.
Get an addressWhy TossPost exists
Almost every download, trial and Wi-Fi portal asks for an e-mail address. Most of them only want it for marketing, and some lose it in a data breach. TossPost lets you keep your real address for the people and services that matter to you.
Private by design
Many disposable inboxes are public: anyone who guesses the name can read along. TossPost keeps the key to every inbox in an encrypted cookie of the browser that created it. Without that key nobody can open the inbox, not even someone who knows the address.
Nothing lingers
Every address runs on a timer of at most 24 hours. When it runs out, the address, its messages and attachments are deleted within minutes. Only addresses you keep with a free account stay longer.
Trackers stay out
Remote images and tracking pixels stay blocked until you load them, so senders do not learn when or where you read their mail. Messages are shown in a sandboxed frame, apart from the rest of the page.
Receive only
TossPost cannot send e-mail. Nobody can use an address to send spam or to pose as someone else.
How TossPost pays for itself
TossPost is free to use. It is meant to cover its costs through advertising on its pages and an optional ad-free plan. Ads never appear inside your messages.
